Another Warrior Picture
Looking through my too large collection of pictures from the Terracotta Warrior Museum on the plane back to Beijing I found this one. I think it shows the individual character of each figure better than the ones I posted before.
The information signs and books say that the army is divided into groups, some armed with spears and swords, some archers, and some armed with cross-bows. In this picture with the forearms horizontal, I would think they carried spears, but I don't know what weopons were carried by the men in the picture you comment on.
This webpage has useful information. One book I read said that most of the weopons were looted, but the website says that 10,000 bronze weopons have been recovered. Only a few seemed to be on display - these were very finely crafted.
