Demolition

Outside my office window is a building site. When I first arrived, less than a week ago, there was a 2 storey building filling the quadrangle. By yesterday evening it was a huge pile of rubble, and this morning it was a flat yard with newly planted evergreen trees along the far edge! It's a bit noisy, but most of the heavy duty work is done overnight, presumably not to disturb people. The current activity is sorting and stacking the lumber salvaged from the demolition.
