Lama Temple



The Lama Temple (Yonghegong) is an active, lively, and colorful Buddhist Temple in the north east of Beijing.

There are five central halls, with a large number of Buddhas varying in size from a few inches to an impressive fifty feet tall, and even more Buddhas in many side halls.

In the courtyards between are massive incense burners, in which the crowds of devotees burn large sticks of incense or prayer papers.....
